iWorx has added a plug-in ECG analysis software module to its suite of systems, components and software for advanced cardiovascular research. The LabScribe2 ECG Software Module automates the analysis of ECG data from a variety of animal species and provides a comprehensive set of pre-configured routines to simplify data interpretation and analysis. Specific analysis templates are included to accurately delineate PQRST onset, durations and amplitudes. iWorx has introduced the IX-228S Data Acquisition System for small animal cardiovascular research, Oocyte clamp and high end metabolic research applications. The high resolution, low noise system uses a 16-bit A/D converter to sample data over its full input range of ±10V at speeds up to 100 kHz. The low noise greatly reduces the need for gain and offset.
