Installing Windows-ARM Drivers
Windows-Arm systems are computers running Microsoft Windows 11 on power-efficient, ARM-based processors rather than traditional Intel/AMD x86 chips. Optimized for battery life and portability, these devices use emulation to run standard apps while offering native support for ARM64 software and AI-driven performance.
Drivers for Windows-Arm system are not installed automatically and must be installed by the user or IT dept Admin of the campus computer.
How to Install the ARM Drivers
Search for Device Manager
Open Device Manager.
Locate the Data Acquisition Device – it will have a yellow exclamation ! point icon next to it.
Click the small down arrow to the left of the exclamation mark – the iWorx Device name will show up.
Right click on the Device name, the Update Drivers window will open.
- Click “Update Driver.”
Click Browse my computer for drivers.
Scroll down the list to OS(C:), click to expand.
Choose Program Files and click to expand.
Choose iWorx and then LabScribe.
Highlight the drivers folder, then click OK.
The ARM drivers will install automatically.
Restart your computer.
